I’ll always remember the amazing stories Uncle Edward would tell. A truly remarkable man, and I loved seeing him when he came and visited my Nana, Nan & Grandad. Rest in Peace, Uncle Edward. It brings me comfort knowing you’re reunited with your much missed & loved family once again.

Blind Veterans UK

A few years ago, Edward came across Blind Veterans UK.

A wonderful charity, often overlooked, providing support services and organising various events for blind veterans. Run by some really wonderful people.

As he was a veteran of the Royal Air Force, and registered blind, he joined up.

He 'thoroughly enjoyed' the meetings and dinners, and 'thoroughly looked forward' to the next one.
